Brent:

We should know which will have good 3D support during development, and
be able to set the default UI appropriately.  I don't think we have a
good way ATM to stop them from starting UNE other than removing the
.desktop file or the packages themselves, which is ugly but i'm sure
could be accomplished via a post install package on a per config basis.
