OK, I'm using the Sep 8 2010 daily kernel build and the problem still
exists.

So, it seems to be a regression upstream.

jyio, I know what you mean about tapping to get the disired effect, but
I cannot select text while tapping.  To select text I need to be able to
hold that missing button.
