Same issue here Lattitude E6410, Intel HD Graphics, i5 540m, Bios A05. 
10.10 beta. 
Interestingly I thought it was fixed, updated to newest fixes, (checked boxes for proposed and bleeding edge stuff) both monitors worked and displayed login, then shut down, now back to same problem.
