** Description changed:

- I have download the lastest LiveCD (http://releases.ubuntu.com/karmic/ubuntu-9.10-desktop-amd64.iso)
- Check with MD5sum, burn in 4X & burn 3 times ! (not on RW)
+ When booting on a LiveCD and selecting any choice (or not pressing on
+ any key), the PC hangs on the blinking cursor "_".
  
- I boot on this CD, I have choice to select 'live mode', 'install it' ...
- When I select any choice, it hangs on the blinking cursor "_"
+ Workaround: Add "mem=1G" to the boot options. The LiveCD should then
+ boot normally. Please note that this option is not necessary when Ubuntu
+ is installed.
