It was my hard disk.. I don-t know how i can delete the bug so i marked
it as invalid.

** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Invalid

** Description changed:

The problem is that when I use the 2.6.32-24.41 kernel installed using
the update manager, on normal usage of ubuntu, browsing, moving files,
etc ... I'm experiencing freezes. It seems that something is broken with
EXT4 and this kernel. It freezes to the point that remounts my
filesystem to only read-only and then ubuntu is totally messed to the
point that i have to hard reset the system.

When the system resets I get after Grub this:

mount : mounting /dev on /root/dev failed : No such file or directory
mount : mounting /sys on /root/sys failed : No such file or directory
mount : mounting /proc on /root/proc failed : No such file or directory
  Target filesystem doesn't have /sbin/init
No init found. try passing init= bootarg
  Busybox 1.13.3 ( Ubuntu 1:1.13.3-1ubuntu11) built-in shell (ash)

  (initramfs)

I can reproduce this by only installing a fresh Ubuntu 10.04 using a
EXT4 filesystem updating all the packages using the Update Manager, then
rebooting. After that reboot and choosing the new kernel, massive
freezes, hard reset and then all the grub text.. that I pasted before.

I attach the dmesg, when a freeze happens, this is what i get:

- Using Kernel 2.6.32-21 my system runs ok without any freeze! So I doubt that my Harddisk are the problem.
