I just wanted to report that I did not see the black screen issue with
2.6.32-24.41, but I do see the black screen with 2.6.32-24.42.  My
hardware is Dell E6410 with the Intel graphics:

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Core Processor
Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02)
