[Bug 627768] [NEW] package linux-image-2.6.32-24-generic 2.6.32-24.41 failed to install/upgrade: corrupted filesystem tarfile - corrupted package archive

Public bug reported:

This defect occurs when there is too much of download happening. I think
the RAM is not able to take the load and the package gets corrupted.
However the retry can occur better by providing the user an option to
clear the broken package from local archive and to download it again.
