Hi,
Well looking at your dmesg:
[ 5.576066] ata1: link is slow to respond, please be patient (ready=0)
[ 10.560065] ata1: device not ready (errno=-16), forcing hardreset
[ 15.756062] ata1: link is slow to respond, please be patient (ready=0)
[ 20.572061] ata1: SRST failed (errno=-16)
[ 25.768030] ata1: link is slow to respond, please be patient (ready=0)
[ 30.584062] ata1: SRST failed (errno=-16)
[ 35.780063] ata1: link is slow to respond, please be patient (ready=0)
[ 65.628063] ata1: SRST failed (errno=-16)
[ 70.656061] ata1: SRST failed (errno=-16)
[ 70.656066] ata1: reset failed, giving up
So it's waiting for the ata interface to come up - I'd look at trying to
disable the ATA interface in the BIOS if it's possible.
