[Bug 669019] [NEW] Reopening laptop lid screen remains black

1) Description:	Ubuntu 10.10
Release:	10.10

2) I have not found what is responsible for activating the screen again
after reopening the lid, but I would guess it is something in the kernel
/ drivers

3) After closing the lid and opening it again I expect that the screen
content shows again

4) After closing the lid and opening it again, the screen remains black
