[Bug 668461] [NEW] 2.6.32-25 kernel breaks vmware fusion 3 shared folders

This issue is not present in 2.6.32-24

I run a virtual instance of Ubuntu on my OS X Snow Leopard (64-bit)
machine. In the VMWare menu, I can enable shared folders by going to
Virtual Machine -> Shared Folders -> Turn Shared Folders On.

On the 2.6.32-24 kernel, this would mount my OS X home directory on the
Ubuntu machine in /mnt/hgfs. On the 2.6.32-25 kernel, Vmware instead
gives an "Unknown Error" and does not mount the folder.
