Public bug reported:

Excerpt from Novell's KB document 7006323:

http://www.novell.com/support/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=7006323&sliceId=1&docTypeID=DT_TID_1_1

"A shutdown or reboot command issued from a remote login does not get
performed completely. The keyboard attached to the machine has Scroll
Lock set. When turning off Scroll Lock, the shutdown process proceeds."

This has happened to me on 9.10. The machine in question is permanently
connected to a KVM switch, so disabling the keyboard is not an option.

Novell provides a workaround (custom keymap with "plain keycode 70 =
VoidSymbol"), but it'd be nice to have a real solution.

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
