hi there,

after upgrading from Ubuntu 10.04 to 10.10 the drives connected via
(Digitus) Marvell 88SX7042 Sata Host Adapter are missing.
syslog always repeats this:

...so what about the support of this controller in the new Ubuntu
(linux)?

the drives connected via Sil 3132 - and Sil 3124 - controllers are
working well.
