Hello,
two Modules are loadet, rt2500usb and rt73usb. Block rt2500usb. You need only rt73usb. Code:

echo 'blacklist rt2500usb' | sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

Restart and check it out:

lsmod | egrep 'rt2|rt7'
