[Bug 664830] [NEW] SD card picture corruption

Public bug reported:

Pictures such as JPGs and PNGs seem to be corrupted when I try to access
them on a SD card.  When I copy them over to the hard drive, they are
still corrupted.  When I tested this on the windows partition, they were
fine.  When I copied them over in windows and viewed them from Ubuntu,
they were ok.
