still happens on maverick. i noticed it happens much more often if cpu
is busy and there is also big network traffic. for example when i have
rhytmbox playing in background, i am running eclipse, android emulator
and i am also downloading something on background that it happens every
few minutes

i didn't tried solution "# defoptions=quiet splash acpi_osi=Linux in
/boot/grub/menu.lst and then run update-grub" because in grub2 there is
no such file and i am not sure where to write it so it won't be
overwritten
