My ath9k was working all right with 2.6.32.21 (iirc), but somewhere
between this one and 2.6.32.25 it broke. Now I have severe issues, like
hanging connections, etc. unless I do "sudo iwconfig wlan0 power off".
Not sure if it is my crappy AP or a general issue, but I thought it was
worth to comment here

In two different machines, both relatively recent Asus EeePC netbooks.
