i was just curious - this is also occurring on my system and i noticed
that Mark Harper installed maverick via usb, "I did a clean install of
32 bit Ubuntu from a USB on 11 Oct 2010 and have had the error on every
boot since then." i also installed the 32-bit version but my system is
amd 64 - i'm not sure whether his is 32 or 64 or if that even has
anything to do with it but, might this bug have something to do with
installing through a usb and the files are then unable to be located?
