The USB sound drivers are contained in the *.deb file: 
  ./lib/modules/2.6.32-26-generic/kernel/sound/usb/snd-usb-audio.ko

Can you plug your camera in and send me your resulting /var/log/udev
file please?

I am in the process of compiling you some more kernels, I'll let you
know when they are ready for testing (should be 30-60mins).
