Hi guys, I fixed it like this http://www.khattam.info/howto-install-
latest-intel-drm-kernel-to-avoid-crashes-on-boards-with-intel-hd-
graphics-2010-08-14.html

for short: Goto drm-intel-next PPA (http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/drm-intel-next/) and then download the following files:
linux-headers-X-all.deb
linux-headers-X.deb
linux-image-X.deb

For me linux-
headers-2.6.36-997-generic_2.6.36-997.201010090908_amd64.deb, linux-
headers-2.6.36-997_2.6.36-997.201010090908_all.deb, linux-
image-2.6.36-997-generic_2.6.36-997.201010090908_amd64.deb did the
trick.

For me, suspend is working fine now. The 2.6.35 kernels in Maverick were
not working either.
