  Hi folks,

i followed [1] to test my touchscreen functionality on ubuntu maverick.
On my dell latitude XT the stylus works out of the box. However, when
performing finger inputs no events are performed (the cursor does not
move) and after some time the system freezes completely.

Nevertheless using [2] when replacing the first line with "sudo cat
/sys/kernel/debug/usb/usbmon/* \" indicates that the device is
recognized and working somehow. Many lines of input appear on stdout.
But again, after sometime the system freezes completely and keyboard or
mouse inputs are not recognized. Only pushing powerbutton helps to
  restart the system.

Hope this helps to fix problems for the n-trig touchscreen.

  Regards,
      Jannis
