I just installed Ubuntu (10.04) on an HP Pavillion
(http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02479701&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&site=null&key=null&product=4295651&lang=en)
wireless card = 802.11 b/g/n PCI express wireless
and cannot access the internet at all. No wireless networks are showing
up and even plugging my PC directly into the wireless router doesn't
give me any internet connection.
I have opened the wireless network list and see no networks at all -
telling, as I live in an apartment with several networks in range.
Since I installed side by side with Windows 7 I have been able to
validate that when stareded up under W7, I get net connectivity fine.
** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: Incomplete
