I can confirm this bug still exists in 10.10 RC. I receive the same
error message with a clean (but fully patched) install on a core 2 duo
Mac Mini. Ubuntu 10.10 is the only operating system installed on the
system and I let the installer erase the entire disk and use the default
partitioning.
