It is similar - however as that bug has been closed as incomplete - it
is still an issue for a few users at least. IMHO it may be a far greater
issue - I have seen many off-launchpad forums and posts that relate to
this. It may be something that prevents some users using Ubuntu/Linux as
it does not provide them with a fully functional desktop replacement OS.
