[Bug 671223] [NEW] getnstimeofday takes long time to execute

Public bug reported:

I'm trying out the wakeup_rt ftracer, and what pops out immediately is
the fact that getnstimeofday takes a long time to execute, up to 20
milliseconds. This does not seem right to me.

Testcase is playing back audio with pulseaudio, and pulseaudio is using RT priority for its playback thread. 
 
Perhaps I should test the mainline kernel, and if it is still an issue there, post this on LKML and see if I get any responses?
