I had marked this bug as a duplicate of bug 656279. However, my problem
is resolved by doing the following:
1) Use grub fix from bug 656279:
cat >>/etc/default/grub<<EOT
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="acpi_sleep=nonvs"
EOT
2) unmount my SD card and physically remove it from the card-reader on
the front of the T410.
3) Suspend
Prior to following the steps above, the system never actually suspended
(screen just had a flashing cursor top-left [screen was still *on*!]).
Now, I can suspend OK.
** This bug is no longer a duplicate of bug 656279
NVRM: os_raise_smp_barrier(), invalid context!
