In my case the 2.6.27-rc1 acts exactly the same as 2.6.35-22.35 - about
15 minutes of fluent job and then back to freezes once every 10 - 12
seconds. I also noticed some unusually intensive HDD activity - but i'm
not sure it's related. I'll check it out. Also i'm downloading KDE to
see if it would change anything. I'll post my tests' results in a few
hours.
