Public bug reported:

I was not able to run Ubuntu 10.10 on my Beagleboard C4 following the
instructions from https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ARM/OMAPMaverickInstall. Even
after disconnecting all peripherals besides UART boot is freezing. The
serial output is here:
