[Bug 669486] [NEW] JMicron Reader detects and removes SD card

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.35-23-generic

This reader worked pre-Maverick. With power management disabled for the
card reader (there is a BIOS setting for this) and the card inserted at
boot, I see the following in dmesg.

The card is not removed, however the controller reports it as being
removed. Removing and inserting the card results in no LED indicator
flashing, nor any dmesg output that might indicate the card was detected
or removed. It is almost like the reader has been *turned off*.

I have no way to access content on this card through the built-in card
reader currently, which I used for the thousands of photos already on
this system previously in intrepid, jaunty, karmic and lucid.

imac at repo:~$ dmesg | grep mmc
