The dmesg doesn't give me all the information I need to be sure, but it
seems that the driver is loaded and trying to function. Generally, if
the firmware doesn't load the driver just gives up. This means that the
firmware is ok, but the driver itself has issues. The driver also comes
from the staging tree of the kernel, so this is not too surprising :(.

If you look through /var/log/messages and you see warnings about the
firmware not loading after you've installed this package (look at the
timestamps to be sure), then please let me know. Otherwise, I'm going to
assume the firmware is correct.
