It happens in the latest *testing* version of Debian and the current
Ubuntu Lucid Lynx with all the latest updates. It‘s a Ubuntu/Debian
Patch, it does no happen in other distros. I backtraced it in the above
comments.

** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu)
       Status: Expired => New

** Tags added: apport-collected

** Description changed:

- On Hardy Beta the keyboard worked fine, but on a clean install with
- Hardy Alternate i386 Final the Ctrl and Fn keys are swapped. I
- configured the keyboard as a ACPI Standard and Latin-american keyboard
- map. Shortcuts works with Ctrl (Bright Up, Down, Volumen Up, Down, Mute,
- etc.) and Fn works as Ctrl.
