I have a Thinkpad X22 with ATI display and a desktop with nVidia
display, both experience problem resuming from suspend or hibernation.

Both systems seem to have successfully suspended/hibernated.  Hitting
the button to resume seems to wake up the systems and some HDD
activities are registered but the screen remains blank and the systems
just stop there.  All I can do is to hold down the power button to force
shutdown.

Both systems were upgraded from 9.10.
