Just to expand on my situation.

I also see the above ratelimit entries, see attached. So far not
experienced a repeat of the original problem.

For completeness, I occasionally (Once every ca. 20-30mins) experience a
small jump/skip forward (<=1 second) when listening to sound, either
streamed via the internet or played locally through Exaile for example.

Not sure if this adds anything to bug Bug #545065 referenced above,
certainly appears far less aggressive in my situation.
