Might i add to this. I'm having the same issue. And for me it goes
further. I suspect its the source of my regular once a day Ubuntu
hanging (freezing), Only able to reboot from using Alt+SysR+
(r,s,e,i,u,b) in turn... I see the error when i do Alt+SysR+e.

Dell Inspiron 1564, Lucid Lynx 64bit.
