[Bug 578548] Re: touchpad on/off notification icon is not displaying at all

with the notification icon not displaying, touchpad is working as it
supposed to (also disabling/enabling the touchpad works completely fine)

I didn't even know there is such notification until i installed ubuntu
on my GF laptop (its some Acer travelmate) where this notification works
how its supposed to.
