Public bug reported:

hibernation used to work until recently. Not exactly sure when, but I
thought it worked at the time of lucid release. Now, it resumes fine,
but none of my opened programs start back up. Additionally, networking
is disabled.

~$ cat /proc/cmdline
BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.32-22-generic root=UUID=d5c13795-76a4-43e8-834a-c64e29e7f3fb ro crashkernel=384M-2G:64M,2G-:128M quiet splash
~$ cat /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume
RESUME=UUID=7813bdb6-9262-4b81-b1db-03bcce285489

I noticed that there is some orphaned inodes or something in my dmesg.
I will attach.
