I have this in dmesg also:

shpchp 0000:00:01.0: Cannot reserve MMIO region

shpchp: Standard Hot Plug PCI Controller Driver version: 0.4


I'm using Lucid and I get at bootup in the console saying:

shpchp 0000:00:01.0: Cannot reserve MMIO region

Can we at least get a way to SILENCE this in the console after grub
loads?
