I have a Dell Inspiron 6400 running Kubuntu 10.04LTS with wicd to manage
networks.

lspci gives
03:00.0 Ethernet controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4401-B0 100Base-TX (rev 02)

The network was stable with karmic, and keeps on disconnecting with
lucid.

I switched back to kernel 2.6.32-21-generic from 2.6.32-22-generic and
it is stable again...

So there must be a bug in the b44 module inside 2.6.32-22-generic as not
in 2.6.32-21-generic.
