Hi all,

I've been meaning to post about these issues for a bit, but I've been
swamped with other work. The nForce smbus error message is benign. You
can read all about it in my comments in bug #440470. It is highly
unlikely to be related to the boot speed issue at all.

I will be creating a patch to lower the logging level of the nForce
smbus message so it does not appear over the boot splash screen. We
already did the same for the generic ACPI warning message over the same
issue. However, rest assured that the message is harmless.
