I tried your suggested command in comment #2, but it doesn't work (as
root nor as user). It refers to a file (see below) that isn't there.
There are no files at all in ~/.cache/apport (nor in the equivalent
/root/.cache...)


apport-collect -p linux 509140

Error connecting to Launchpad: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'makefile'
You can reset the credentials by removing the file "/home/myname/.cache/apport/launchpad.credentials"
