Hi Jeremy,

I've updated my system to the lastest Lucid Lynx release and I can
confirm that the problem persist with the kernel:

Linux DES817 2.6.32-22-generic-pae #33-Ubuntu SMP Wed Apr 28 14:57:29
UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux

Next few days I will try to do the same with a LiveCD to be sure that's
not an installation problem and I keep you informed asap
