[Bug 572094] Re: Can't adjust screen brightness until wireless is connected

I just tried 2.6.34-rc5 (built manually, not from
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds). I could not test the
screen brightness because the nvidia_bl would not build. However, the
other symptoms still occur: the power adapter message appears after a
long delay, and the mouse pointer jumps to the top left corner.
