Binary package hint: firefox
Dear Ubuntu friends,
I tried to install and run Ubuntu 10.04 but it crashed 3 times in one hour.
First crash was during Install - Prepare partitions - Step 5 of 8.
I turned power off and on. Then I installed Ubuntu 10.04 with no partition customization, just "side by side" with Windows 7 and Ubuntu 9.10.
Second crash: after opening System - Preferences - Appearance.
Third crash: after opening a terminal window and typing "man fflush Enter".
Each crash is the same: no pointer response, no keyboard response, clock
stops.
My hardware is Asus N71JA-TY 034 notebook with Intel i5 processor no hardware modification.
Ubuntu 9.10 and Windows 7 work fine.
Thanks for any advice.
Pavel
