[Bug 573114] [NEW] at bootup get "can't mount /proc/usb/hub" message

Public bug reported:

I installed 10.04 last night by upgrade.  Now, at bootup, I get an error
message "Can't mount /proc/usb" and boot will not proceed until I
dismiss it by typing an "s".  The computer then goes on to boot without
problems and everything works including USB sticks.
