** Description changed:
Also with current Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Alpha 2 pre-release (netbook edition, kernel 2.6.32-13-generic) installed on a 4 GB SD card "resume from suspend" is not working stable (on my Lenovo netbook "IdeaPad S12"):
With two of twelve trials the system hung up.
Kernel option CONFIG_MMC_UNSAFE_RESUME is not set (acc. to /boot/config-2.6.32-13-generic) --
would it be possible to enable this option for the final Ubuntu 10.04 release, at least for the netbook remix?
This error report is related to former bugs
- #342096 ("SD Card containing /home corrupted on resume") and
- #351350 ("fails to mount SD card on resume from suspend").
