Hi,

now I've just tested the microscope with the freshly installed and fully
patched (as of 1st May 2010, 09:03 GMT+2) Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (64 bit
architecture this time and not 32 bit anymore like on my first test with
9.10). While the new Ubuntu seems to be great, there's still no luck
with getting the USB microscope working. No "/dev/video0" file created.
Therefore no suitable video device for cheese, camorama etc.

This time I have rerun the "apport-collect ..." command (see above) to
provide you with the current log files.

The next thing to try is the upstream kernel testing. After that, I'll
report the result here, if I could build and install the newest kernel
properly.

Dennis
