[Bug 550479] [NEW] fails to suspend on Lenovo t400 laptop

Public bug reported:

My Lenovo t400 fails to suspend every time. It begins to, but before the
screen goes black (but after it blanks- it's still backlit) the process
halts and the little moon light that stays solid while suspend blinks
indefinitely. In order to get back I need to hold the power button until
the computer shuts off, then start up normally. This happens every time.
Suspend has worked from Hardy until recently. I don't know which upgrade
broke it, but it did work at some point since alpha 3.
