** Description changed:

Excuse the Apport user answers, I treated them as if they were to do
  with general iwlagn stability.

Most of the other (~9) duplicate bugs of the format 'WARNING: at
  /build/buildd/linux-2.6.32/net/mac80211/scan.c:285
  ieee80211_scan_completed {some offset}/{another offset} [mac80211]()'
are to do with people resuming from hardware suspend.

If I was guessing, I would guess the problem in the code is some kind of
- rare condition. This issue is rare as hell.
+ race condition. This issue is rare as hell.

I was browsing the web normally. I've lost the wireless module in the
kernel once this week, but got no apport report. I think that is a
separate issue -- I could join and leave wireless networks freely, but
not send any real traffic back and forth without the connection hanging.
I did a modprobe -r and then a modprobe at that time.

The kernel restarted the iwlagn module cleanly and quickly.

I'm reporting this issue separately firstly in case it isn't a race
condition and my issue, what with me not actively coming out of software
suspend at the time, is different, and secondly because the offsets in
the title are different and I don't know what they mean.

I suspect that if this issue was marked as invalid with reason 'Solar
flares' no-one would look upon you any the lesser.
