(3/26/10) When I installed Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Beta 1, I plugged in my
Logitech Quickcam Express webcam so I could try to run it under Ubuntu
and not only my other partition, Windows. The installation went fine,
until I loaded Ubuntu. When it came up, I couldn't connect to my
wireless router, even though the router and my network card were both
on. I tried rebooting, but that didn't work either. Then, I turned of
my computer (which is a Toshiba Satellite A215 Notebook Laptop),
unplugged my webcam, and turned my computer on again. Ubuntu detected
my router and everything went fine. I checked for updates and installed
everything, and when I rebooted and plugged my webcam in, it got screwed
up again. And once again, I turned my computer off, unplugged it, and
everything went fine. Is it because of my other partition? Is it
because of my old router (my router is older than 5 years)? What's
causing it, and how do I fix it? HELP!!!!!
