[Bug 544060] [NEW] system will not boot in current kernel, must go back to last one to boot

when i turn on my computer and try to boot in on the first kernel listed in menu it says it must load kernel first press any key.
I do this and it goes back to the main menu again, I repeat and it keeps going back to the main menu, I then went down to the recovery (second choice) and the same thing happened. So I clicked on the third choice and it booted up.
