[Bug 542721] [NEW] ath9k ubuntu 10.04 lucid system freeze at high bandwidth usage

Public bug reported:

When I download large files over a wireless connection (module ath9k for
an AR9285 PCIe networkcard) the connection seems to freeze and after
about 10 seconds the complete system freezes up. Only a forced
powerdown/up resets the system.

This doesn't happen when I exchange the ath9k driver with the one from
compat-wireless; http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Download (version
compat-wireless-2010-03-02)

system info:
Netbook / ASUS 1005HA

OS:
Ubuntu 10.04 lucid with up to date packages at 20th March 2010
